ADVANTAGE SAE 80W-90 GL-5 LIMITED-SLIP GEAR OIL is a multipurpose, heavy-duty, extreme pressure gear lubricant which is recommended for hypoid and bevel gear sets used in most limited-slip rear drive differentials. It is purpose built with an included frictional modifier to provide the proper level of “slip” as required by driveline axles and drive gears requiring an API GL-5 service level lubricant.
ADVANTAGE SAE 80W-90 GL-5 LIMITED-SLIP GEAR OIL is specifically formulated for final drives which utilize limited-slip clutches and friction discs. It contains special friction modifiers and additives to eliminate “chatter”, offer smooth performance throughout a variety of difficult traction situations and prolongs gear life with robust extreme-pressure chemistry.
ADVANTAGE SAE 80W-90 GL-5 LIMITED-SLIP GEAR OIL is intended for the initial fill, top-off and refill of axles that require an API GL-5 gear oil that are commonly used in the rear drive lines of high-performance and four-wheel drive vehicles. Its superior additive system prevents gear “chatter”, provides smooth and predictable performance throughout a variety of traction situations and offers superior wear protection.
